Inclusive Tennis in the Lido Park

Tennis is a sport that can be played by almost anyone, no matter what their own personal challenges. Getting active is proven to improve mental and physical health through taking part, socialise and compete with similar people in the sport.

Lido Park Tennis is very much at the centre of inclusive tennis and our coach Neil Bates is the Open Court Lead for both Herefordshire & Worcestershire. This allows access across a number of locations for those who want to play tennis no matter what their own personal situation.

Examples of specialist sessions that are available are:

  • + Visually Impaired/Blind Tennis
  • + Wheelchair Tennis
  • + Tennis for those with Learning Disabilities
  • + Tennis for Parkinsons sufferers
  • + Tennis for those with acquired brain injuries

Some of our groups are also good for those who want a quieter environment such as those with autism or ADHD.

If you would like to know more about any of these, or discuss things on a personal basis, please get in touch in confidence with Neil Bates via the contact form.
